My yoga practice started in 2011 when I was a recent graduate living in Austin, TX on a very meager budget. I tried a heated vinyasa class at a donation-based studio—simply because it was an affordable activity—and absolutely fell in love with the practice of yoga. I entered that first class stressed and distractible, and I left feeling centered, calm, and inspired. I've explored various styles of yoga in the past decade and completed my RYT 200 in 2025. I credit yoga with improvements in my mental and physical strength and wellbeing, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share this practice with others.
